Logs not flushing after Exchange 2007 Backup (LCR environment)

We are having trouble flushing logs from our First Storage Group on our production machine.

I have tried performing a full ntbackup (just of the Information Store) with LCR suspended on that group but the LatestFullBackupTime does not reflect that and the logs are still being kept from September 09.

There is nothing helpful in the event logs regarding why they are not being flushed or why LCR isn't performing as expected on that Storage Group.

What backup software are you using? You need to make sure that you are using an Exchange aware backup API otherwise the log files will not be cleared. If you're using Windows 2003 you can use ntbackup which ships with Windows. You need to ensure that you're backing up the Storage groups.

NTBackup - I am just backing up the IS. I am aware that logs aren't flushed when full partition backups are performed.
