I just purchashed a new HP SimpleSave USB backup drive.  The backup software in kept on the hard drive and is not installed on the PC.  When I reboot my PC, I want the software to automatically start...but it does not!

What can I do to make the software start when the PC reboots?

It will have an autorun inf in it's root directory. Open this to determine which program is executed when the drive is plugged in, then place a shortcut to the executable in your startup folder. There is probably only one executable program on the drive, in this case this will be it.
