Hi,

I have Excel spreadsheet with conditional formatting.
The document has been prepared in Windows and when viewing it in Excel for Mac the colors (applied by conditional formatting) differs from the Windows version.
For example green turns red, etc..

As the document contains financial information the changes in colors are most unwelcome.

Any ideas what's happening?

Thanks

What versions of Excel are you using? (On both PC and Mac)

An issue can be that you used more than 3 colors/cell for the conditional formatting when you made the spreadsheet (assuming you used Excel 2007), while Mac Excel supports on 3 colors. Not sure what it does in this case, but that might account for the mis-coloring. Also, if you used the Excel 2007 Theme colors, those also might not be supported. Try sticking to the basic colors (40 of them) that are supported by Excel 2003.
