Speed of OneNote File Syncing on Network share

I'm trying to configure OneNote for multiple users to access simultaneously. I set up a shared notebook on a network attached storage device and configured the 3 computers I plan to have using the notebook. I created the notebook as a shared notebook for multiple people on a server.

At the moment I am testing it on 2 computers next to each other and when I make a change on 1 it may take up to a minute for the change to appear on the other screen, sometimes a partial update of what was written and an additional minute for the rest to appear.

Is there any way to increase the rate at which the notebooks sync with each other? As I plan to have 3 people all using this simultaneously I would like to avoid confusion if I tell someone I updated something and they cant see it.

I am not sure there is a method to change the frequency of syncing in OneNote.  Have you tried the manual sync method to see if it happens faster when initiated by the user?

Ya I've looked everywhere too, I don't see any options to information on the internet. Sync time seems to be once a minute. I suppose their is no solution just annoying to call and tell someone information is there just to have them not able to see it.

Another way to look at it might be that if they know the information should be there, they can initiate a sync to fetch any new information

From comments and personal research their seems to be no way to speedup the automatic syncing speed.

I am not sure I agree with the decision to mark your own comment as the accepted solution, awarding no points.  Providing the answer that this is not available in OneNote moved the question along, even if it wasnt the method you were looking for

Sorry, I never drop in here unless I need something answered, so I'm not sure of general protocol, and SouthMod's answer is somewhat ambiguous the way i am reading it. Have I done something wrong? or was the indeed to proper way to handle this?
