Greetings! I would love to know what the differance between AnyConnect and a plain old Cisco VPN is. Will anyConnect (the only available 64-bit VPN client) work in place of an older, non 64-bit client?

The AnyConnect Client is an SSL VPN client, where the traditional Cisco VPN Client is an IPsec client.  The two are completely different technologies and are not interoperable with one another.  They *can* coexist on the same device though, which makes transition from one to the other relatively simple.  The AnyConnect client will work on 32-bit platforms and 64-bit platforms, so migrating from to an AnyConnect VPN server will still permit older platforms to connect to it.
