COM+ system apllication will not open in computer management console

 get error 1053 did not respond in timely fashion.  have tried  various fixes listed on web renaming files,removing registry values. also eror messages during microsoft update and when i click on add/remove windows components ie. COM+ setup error unhandled exception

I have not received any feedback from you since January 13th and here it is July 30th.  In absence of such feedback, how can you fairly award points and grade?  Had I received any feedback, I would have done some more research to try and find you an answer.  I think I have found the answer to your problem in a hotfix that you can download at this link.

The fix applies to those that have IIS 6.0.  Does your system have IIS 6.0? If so, and the fix can't be applied to Win XP SP3, then the next step would be to look at upgrading to IIS 7.0.
