I think this is an issue with Outlook 2007.  We've had it happen before with a couple users, but when they sent the request through OWA or Outlook 2003 it would go through.

What error does the Non Delivery Report indicate?  Is it a timeout error that sits in the queue for 48 hours before rejecting?

I had this issue personally, but haven't been able to figure it out.

A friend has a "personalized" email address that gets redirected, through a hosting service, to their Yahoo email account.  I normally send Meeting Requests to the personalized email account, but occasionally (1 in 10) they get stuck in queue on my Exchange server and eventually time-out.  Other messages or meetings I send, go right through, which the problem meeting request stays in queue.  If I send the same meeting request directly to Yahoo, it works.  I believe the problem is a combination of certain characters / options in the meeting request and specific mail systems.  I have been using Outlook 2007, and never thought to try OWA or 2003.  The next time one gets stuck, I'll try that...
