check disk performance through profiler

Is it possible to check how well disk is performing through profiler. If so, what event id would you use to determine them.

thanks

Thanks very much.

ralmada, your first link suggests that perfmon cannot give accurate readings for SAN storage. I was hoping that he would tell what, if any, counters can be used for SAN systems. For SAN subsystems, which perfmon counters will be accurate for observing DISK IO throughput.?
Have you checked out the references provided by me above..
Any comments on those things..

I just got to the articles. The common denominator in those articles seem to be % Idle Time (and % Disk Time which will be the inverse of it). Do you think this will be accurate in SAN, or not necessarily.?

If you can comment on the other 2 that were recommended also, it will be good (in a SAN setup)
Physical Disk (instance)\Disk Transfers/sec
PhysicalDisk: Avg. Read/Write Queue Length

thanks. I will check if the san has any performance tool of it's own.
