First page of PDF document printing very small

I have somebody at my company using Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.1.  When he prints a multipage PDF document, the first page always comes out tiny, in the top left corner of the page.  How do I get the 1st page to just print normally, preferably without installing any 3rd party software?  He's using XP Professional if that helps.

Check in the printer options for a setting to print pdf documents as images. See if that helps.
Also take a look at the printer property settings and make sure "fit image to paper size" is selected or scale to fit.

I know sometimes if a .pdf is smaller than actual 8 1/2 x 11 or bigger, you'll either get way too much of the image and it's cut off OR the image is too small.

The first page too - is it showing to you at 100% in the program?  Can you print out page 2 only and does it come out ok?

The first page looks fine within Adobe Acrobat.  I don't think it's an issue of the data being "cut off".  It just curiously prints the first page very tiny in the upper left-hand corner.  The user tried some of Skol2u and flubbster's suggestions, and this is how he responded:

"I didnt see an option in the printer settings to print pdf documents as images. I did, however, run a couple more tests as you suggested. The default is no page scaling, but I also tried fit to printable area. Same result both times. It doesnt seem to matter which page I start from either. Its the first printed page that shrinks in size. When I do fit to printable area or shrink to printable area, it shows that the document will be printed at 96%.

Let me know if you know how to adjust the settings to print pdf documents as images.  I did not see that option anywhere.
Can youprint to another printer?  Might be a glitch win the printer driver.  If u can print to another printer OK it may be the printer driver.  Also why not download cutepdf and print to that.  It basically prints to a PDF locally on the machine.  Nice program and free.  Let me know what happens.
