HI;
Since quit long the DCs i have here were quit running well but in last two days, because of maintenance we restarted both the domain controllers which are separated by FSMO roles and one containing GC, both have DNS services installed and DNS is AD integrated.

After the maintenance on different servers when these two are switched on both servers takes too much time to initiate the DNS services. Following errors appear in the DNS event list.

""' The DNS server was unable to open the Active Directory.  This DNS server is configured to use directory service information and cannot operate without access to the directory.  The DNS server will wait for the directory to start.  If the DNS server is started but the appropriate event has not been logged, then the DNS server is still waiting for the directory to start"""

Because of this issue the network was down for longer. Please help me to avoid such issues and the servers initiate the services as soon those are restarted.

Thanks
