USB to Ethernet for HP AiO

Hi All
Client has a HP 6310 AiO printer. It only has a USB port but due to the office move there are no machines close to it. There are however LAN Wall ports.
Am I able to get a USB to Ethernet converter and connect it to the LAN Wall port. How do I give it a static IP address so I can install the print drivers on the SBS 2008 server to share it out on the LAN. Does the USB to Ethernet device hold the IP address?
I have researched these devices but am unsure whether it will really work. If any experts could advise as to a particular USB to Ethernet model that fulfils the criteria then that would really helpful. Thanks in advance

Just checking but the 6310 is listed with an Ethernet port as standard (it's right next to the USB port)

If it's there then you can use the built in print server

I'm really sorry Masqueraid...client has several printers and I got mixed up. I should have stated that it was a Canon iR 1230 All in One
It definetly has one USB port.

Dear Masqueraid
Thanks for the advise, I've asked Axis directly whether the 1650 upoorts the iR1230. There is one being sold on ebay!
It seems as if the 1610 definetly supports it but there are non available second hand.
Excellent advise and I'll close the call -
Regards
