Test email disclaimer of all Active Directory users

Hello Experts,

I use Exclaimer Mail Utilities to add a custom disclaimer to all our users.  The disclaimers will need changing regularly for about 60 people and testing them is going to be a pain.

How can I automate sending an email from each user account so that it has the Exclaimer disclaimer added (in http format)?

It would be useful if the test email could be sent to multiple email addresses to check the format in different mail clients.

Thank youvery much in advance!

Hi, fourthgen.

I see two possible solutions.

1.  Have each of these 60 people give you delegate access to their mailbox.  That will allow you to perform a "send as".  It will also give you access to read their mail, something they may not be comfortable doing.

2.  Use a bit of scripting.  The script would be triggered by a rule with certain words in the subject or body.  When the script runs it would construct and send an email to whatever addresses you've specified.  This approach is best suited to Outlook 2007 clients.  It will work with other versions of Outlook too, but not as well.  It will not work with non-Outlook clients or OWA users.

Oops.  I was thinking that you wanted to send from Outlook.  Glad you have a solution. Cheers!
