Win XP SOE build

I am trying to put together an SOE to use at work.  It will use Windows XP and will have a batch file that runs on the first logon to install all needed drivers and common applications.

Is there an easy way to do this that will use a corporate product key for XP and log in once by its self and install the drivers in proper order(ie starting with chipset)?

I would like the process to be fully automated or as close as possible.  I have to run around between several remote sites and need to be able to start the SOE and basically forget about it.

What is SOE?

There's an example using sysprep here which installs some basic software (eg Acrobat reader etc) and then makes registry changes to prevent updates trying to automatically run.
Might help as a start point for the process at least.
To download the zip - click on the lnk and log into the EE-Stuff pages using your E-E credentials.  It's a separate site but run by the same team - when that thread was active it was the only way to attach files to posts.

Sadly, for whatever reason, I can not log into EE-stuff.  According to what I see your answer and the one on the other thread are correct.  I just can't get in to see the actual solution.    :(

Just dawned on me... SOE is standard operating environment.

Yes. You can do this using sysprep and nlite.

Use nlite to slipstream all the drivers you need, enter the product key, tweak the system. Then create a new ISO. Mount the ISO and use sysprep to create the distribution, setup the software, etc...

Should be all you need.
