SharePoint Data View: showing total in group header

I have a data view of a list and am grouping by one column (school/location). I would like to insert a total in the header itself (see screen shot - I'd like a total of the number of calls for that location in the blue row).  Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Many thanks.

what is your data source for your data view?

It is a custom list - what you see above are a couple of test entries. I'd like to end up with something like this http://www.redeemer.ab.ca/reports-docs/Pages/Admin-Regulations.aspx but with a sub total for each location, displayed in the group header row.

Thanks!

I discovered a way to do this. Under sort and group, check footer, which will create a row at the bottom showing the count.  You can copy the XSL value from that and paste it into the header. you can then delete the row at the bottom.
