In windows XP when a user forgot to logout and the computer was locked at the screensaver you could press ctrl + alt + del and the domain admins could logout the user.

How is this achieved in windows 7?  switching users leaves the original user logged in, I would prefer not to use this.

In Task Manager's "Processes" tab, click the button [Show processes from all users]
The above changes Task Manager's security profile to run as an administrator.
Now you can go to the "Users" tab and log off the user that forgot to logoff.

Hope that helps,
