Did you set it to blank or set it to another password.  I think those are coded.  Incorrect code will render it unreadable.  If that doesn't help, you'll probably need to restore the file.
When I checked the log this was what I saw,

Going through event viewer under application I saw that error highlighted in red below

Cause

The MetaFrame installer calls special HPSE wrappers to create the accounts that the Citrix Configuration Manager and Citrix SMA Service COM servers run under. These accounts are created locally on the MetaFrame server during installation. The accounts are Ctx_ConfigMgr and Ctx_SmaUser. In addition, the Citrix Print Manager Service runs under the Ctx_SmaUser account. The generic password generation algorithm used by the MetaFrame installer to create the accounts does not account for the case where HPSE wrappers are used for account creation. As a result, the password length typically exceed the password length at which hashing kicks in. Later during the process, the installer configures the username/password for the two COM Servers. The passwords must match the passwords for the user accounts created earlier. Because the passwords for the two user accounts were hashed by Hewlett Packard Authentication Services, a password mismatch occurs between the user accounts and the COM servers. As a result, the ConfigMgrSvr.exe and the SmaService.exe COM server processes do not start. The same is true for the Citrix Print Manager Service as it runs under the Ctx_SmaUser account.

Resolution

1. Log on to the MetaFrame server as a user with local administrative privileges. Choose Start > Run. Type mmc and click OK. Choose File > Add/Remove Snap-in and click Add. Select Component Services, Local Users and Groups for the Local Computer, and Services for the Local Computer.

2. Under Local Users and Groups, find the Ctx_ConfigMgr and Ctx_SmaUser accounts. Right-click on each of the account objects respectively. Choose Set Password. Type in new passwords for both accounts. Make a note of what the password is. This must be completed before moving on to the next step.

3. Under Component Services, navigate to Computers > My Computer > DCOM Config. For both Citrix Configuration Manager AND Citrix SMA Service, do the following:

a. Right-click on the object and select Properties.

b. Click the Identity tab.

c. Change the password to the same password for each of the matching user accounts you changed earlier, respectively.

4. Under Services, locate the Citrix Print Manager Service. Right-click it and select Properties. Click the Log On tab. Change the account password so it matches the password you created for the Ctx_SmaUser account in step 2.

5. Restart the MetaFrame server. The resolved my problem
