Hi all,

A user of mine is getting and error when printing emails. I will attach a screen shot of the error. It isn't with all emails but is an annoyance when it happens.

The URL of the error is res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

I have tried the below;

Start -> Run -> Type `regsvr32 ole32.dll` (without quotes) -> Ok.
Reboot.

If still no joy...
Repair IE8 (IE7):  http://iefaq.info/index.php?action=artikel&cat=42&id=133&artlang=en

If the problem persists Reset Internet Explorer 8 settings

AND

Hi,

Came across this post when I installed IE8 and suddenly couldn`t print (script errors) or open links in new tabs. Registering actprxy.dll using `regsvr32 actxprxy.dll` did indeed fix the problem. Thanks Martin for your solution and NO THANKS MICROSOFT for yet another bodged IE forced upon users by Windows Update...

Del.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Ross Page

Javascript errors are common enough that there is a setting in IE to ignore them (2 settings actually). Did you try ignoring them? IE -> Tools -> Options -> Advanced.  I do not get these errors with IE and Outlook 2003 or 2007. ... Thinkpads_User
Also.. try updating your Java to the latest version to see if that resolves the issues.
