Can .txt files be displayed within a PowerPoint slideshow as they can in SHTML pages using Server Side Include?
We have a database that automatically exports 4 pieces of data and puts each in a .txt file
Then using a mini web server and a .SHTML page we include the data automatically into a web page for people to see.
Anytime we want to update the web site with new data we just run the database, the data is exported into .txt files and then automatically included.
Is the same possible but with a PowerPoint slideshow instead of a .SHTML file?
Regards

This can't be done with any native functions in PowerPoint. But you can program the presentation with a macro that download and updates the text every time the presentation is opened.
