Which administrative template and/or where in the GPO's can I hide the 'My Documents' folder from the Save As menu.  For example.  When opening clicking 'Save As' from any application a Save As windows appears.  On the left navigation bar there is a 'My Documents' link.  How can I hide this?

This is for Vista but should apply to win7

Therefore, instead of using Group Policy to customize the Favorite Links list, you must customize the .Ink files that are in the Links folder.

Acronis in Gartner 2019 MQ for datacenter backup

It is an honor to be featured in Gartner 2019 Magic Quadrant for Datacenter Backup and Recovery Solutions. Gartner’s MQ sets a high standard and earning a place on their grid is a great affirmation that Acronis is delivering on our mission to protect all data, apps, and systems.

senad,

Your right.. The below registry entry will change the default My Document path.  All you do is change the personal key to the drive mapping you want to change it to.  It works on Windows 7 just fine.

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Now,

I want to add this to everyone's login scripti.  Do I simply export this paricular key to a reg file and run the below syntax?

regedit.exe /S \\servename\sharedfolder\exportedregentry.reg
