HP Color LasterJet 3600 - default paper tray

No matter what I do with our HP 3600 everything that prints goes through tray one or it doesn't print.  I changed the settings in the Windows Printer section to refer to tray 2 but it doesn't matter.  What am I missing?

Just in case you are printing from Word, go to Page Setup and change the tray there.

Thanks for your answers and help with my frustration for something that seems like it should be very easy.
The printer is on the network.  User's connect by using the share setup on the server for the printer.  I made the changes to set the default to tray 1 on the server and even when I print from the server everything still comes out of tray 2.  I couldn't find anything on the printer's menu that would set a default tray. I also was not able to find anything on the HP website although I might have missed something since I have trouble navigating it.
You can't set the default tray on the printer's menu as the driver overrides it. To set a default tray go to printer Properties. Click the Advanced tab and then the Printing Defaults button. Select the tray in there. Close that window, click the General tab and the Printing Preferences button. Make the same settin there. This needs to be done on the server.
Yep, did those before I posted this question.  No matter how I set it it goes back to printing from tray 1.  Any other ideas?
Is this happening from all applications?
Yea, it happens from the print server, even after I change it to tray 2 and it happens for all users regardless of which comuter they are at.
I appreciate your help and your suggestions.

If I reinstall the printer on the print server it's going to cause havoc if I reinstall the printer but maybe if I install an additional one and try that out that will help resolve the problem.

Any other suggestions?  These things that should be simple but don't work gets frustrating. Again thanks
