I've built a test AD domain and seperate test exchange 2010 server. Are mailboxes not created and administered from AD users and computers anymore, like they were in exchange 2003? I'm wondering if I missed something to add the Exchange 2010 extensions into AD? Anyone have insight?

Forgot to add you can also use powershell cmdlet.

To create a mailbox open EMC -> receipient configuration -> mailbox right-click new mailbox or enable-mailbox cmdlet

No afraid not, you can create the users at the same time you create the mailboxes using the Exchange Management Console

Thanks guys. I havent even cracked open a 2010 book yet. Was just shooting from the hip to start. Looks like I'm in for a little learning as we look to move from 2003 to 2010.
