Unspecified Error in Message Manager

I have a client that is getting an error in message manager frequently while in the application. The error just states "System problem. Please cancel and contact your system administrator." Once cancelled, another message pops up saying "The Message Manager login is already active. To continue, you must use this login. Otherwise, you will exit Message Manager. Do you wish to continue?" Answering yes to this allows you back in the application. This user does not check voicemail through the phone, and does not have his messages going to his email, he only uses the application. Any thoughts?
