Exchange 5.1.3 errors, valid email

Not sure why I got this message back it seems in the correct format, but I get the following NDR

I have put X's in to protect the person, but there are no dashes or spaces.

We run and Exchange 2003 server. any help?

davexxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxadvixxxx.net on 1/27/2010 9:20 AM
The format of the e-mail address is incorrect. Check the address, look up the recipient in the Address Book, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.

Any ideas why this would be rejected with a 5.1.3?

Seems the address is not valid. Did you check it ?
No special char ? (accent for example ?)

Yes I did...I can send to it via Gmail no problem.

Which client are you using ? Be careful with autocomplete or using of a pre-recorded contact. Sorry for this stupid note...

Could you try to resend a new mail to this address and add my address (as BCC if needed)

Try manually typing out the address and sending again.

Don't click from a contact or use "reply" from a received email.

5.1.3 points to invalid contact information, specifically address field may be empty.
