By Default SMS doesn't clear up records of system not found in AD discovery anymore.

but you can achieve so b enabling Site Maintenance Task
Delete Inactive Client Discovery Data
Although this is disabled by default, it is helpful to have enabled if you have it set correctly. All this task does is delete discovery records from clients that have not been recently found by either a heartbeat discovery nor had an inventory. This task should be set to a number of days that is greater than the heartbeat discovery schedule.

Also you can enable
Delete Aged Discovery Data task
The Delete Aged Discovery Data task deletes aged client discovery data from the SMS site database. This data can include records resulting from heartbeat discovery, network discovery, and Active Directory Domain Services discovery methods (System, User, and System Group).
Databases at other sites are affected when you enable this task.
You can specify the age of the discovery data to be deleted. This command deletes everything relevant to those discovery items from the SMS site database.
Defaults:    Delete discovery data older than 90 days; runs on Saturday between midnight and 5:00 A.M..
