Hi,

1) One of the daily task for the Citrix is "Check overall health of the citrix farm"
2) This is done by "Log into Access Suite Console and run Discovery"
3) My questions:
i) How to log into Access Suite Console? Could we log in to this console from our computer (running Windows XP)? If yes, how to do it? we Telnet the server's IP address or what?
ii)Or we only able to log in to this console through the server itself physically?
iii)What CREDENTIALs that the user should have to login to this console?
iv) Please tell a little bit related to this console (is there any "screen shots" of this console?)
4) Thank you

tjie

Okay so the console takes the credentials of the user logged into windows.  You can install the Access Management Console on your local computer and connect to the farm or you can RDP to a Citrix server and run the access management console from there.

Check out Carl Websters Citrix and Windows Server 2008 articles.  It has everything you need to know about starting up a basic farm: http://carlwebster.com/blogs/webster/archive/2009/01/03/Learning-the-Basics-of-XenApp-5-for-Windows-Server-2008-Part-1-of-7.aspx

Thanks and let me know if you need anything else.
