Want to sync the lotus notes id password and web mail password

You can do this by creating (or editing if already existent) a security policy.
Here you can find the option "Update Internet Password When Notes Client Password Changes". After create the policy you can associate it to all user (by setting, for example, an organizational policy to all your domino domain) or to single user (by creating an explicit policy and then adding it to the person document).

In the Administration console go to the People and Groups tab and look under policies.

You will need to create a security settings document for the policy that has the optioon selected under password management.

Assign this setting document to a profile

Then assign the profile to the users.

As the users login their systems will update and next time they change their password using Lotus Notes client their internet password will change at the same time.

I have tried all this but it is not working.
We are not getting the option in client "Always set Domino Web/Internet password to match Notes password (reduces security)".
Actually our domino server version is 7.0.3 and the client version is 8.5. Will there be any possibility , this is not happening due to the version mismatch.
