Auto populate not working when select box styled
I am building a site that uses populating select boxes to choose a football team from a particular league. You first choose your league and then a second select box is populated with all the teams in that league.
This is working fine, but I've been playing about with styling select boxes and have used the impressive Stylish Select script which makes the ugly select boxes look more acceptable.
The problem is when I use this styling method, the auto populate seems to have stopped working?
This is the first example without the Stylish Select script (not working) - www.txtfusion.arrivaldesign.co.uk/registration
And with this taken out (working) - www.txtfusion.arrivaldesign.co.uk/registration1
Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris

Well I've tried in IE and Firefox, what browser are you using?
Are you saying the second box is populating in this example - http://www.txtfusion.arrivaldesign.co.uk/registration ?

Hi,
The reason it doesn't work is because the stylish select scripts turns your select in to a ul and then just uses events to alter the actual select tag.
There is no native method for that plugin to insert new elements so you will either have to make one or for every option you have you will have to add a li to the newly created ul with the correct attributes and events. It might even be easier to remove select and the ul all together and reset it all

I kind of figured that would be the case, I might have to take a different tact with it then or put up with ugly select boxes!
Thanks
