I have a end user who is receiving "Windows cannot print due to a a problem with the current printer setup" when trying to print from any MS office 2k7 app to a printer that is connected to our LAN and a print server. When I try to print from Notepad nothing happens, but a Windows test page will go through fine, but not a notepad document.
Other users on the same subnet/network are able to print to the printer from MS office apps without any problem. The user with the problem is able to print to other network printers without a problem.
I tried removing the printer from Vista's "printers" menu, browsing to the server \\servername\printer and reconnected, no luck. Tried a re-boot, no luck.
Logged in as myself for the first time on this PC and Vista built me a new local profile, I added the printer in question and encountered the same problem.
