I have a dell dimension 2400 that I just put a new optical drive in. The drive works in the bios and I can use it ti boot to cd but windows wont recognize the drive. It does show up in device manager as: Atapi iHAP222 but it says that there is an error in the registry or somthing....

can't recognise CD/DVD drive
