I have been using Windows 7 (new computer) and it has frozen several times and required a reboot. Does anyone know the cause or how to fix it?

Type Performance in the search dialog box at the bottom of the Start Menu, then click on the found item called Performance Information and Tools.  In the dialog box that comes up, click on Advanced Tools in the lefthand pane.  There may be information about your freezing or issues connected with it there.

What are the symptoms that correlate to the freezing  or restart. Please review the eventlogs for the events that occur before the freezup.

I also advice check for HW problems (Bad memory, OverHeat, bad power supply)
