How can I run classic ASP pages on a mac (10.6) for testing and development without parallels or vmware? I use Apache frequently and I have also heart of some applications that allow for .NET support with Apache, however none support classic ASP with vbscript. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sun bought Chili ASP many years ago. It ran on Apache although it was not 100% compatible, it was very close.  Search SUN's web site to see if they still have that...it is your only hope.

I'm not sure if it will run on OSx

You'll need to test your pages on an IIS box when completed.  If there are not too many I can give you access to one of my public servers for final testing.

Yup, that's no surprise in that .NET has been out so long and directly competes with J2EE.  I am certain they bought it to kill it, e.g. reduce migration from Java on the SUN Server to ASP on IIS, which at the time of the purchase was happening.
