I would really like to pull an external RSS feed into my intranet to update staff on local county alerts. I am using ExpressionWeb. I have tried a few things, but I am obviously missing something. I tried to copy and paste the XML from the RSS feed and paste it into my site. While I get the tables, it does not seem to be 'feeding', but rather just a static paste. I also tried something like using the customizable feed configurator at <a href="http://www.expertsforge.com/rss-feeds/rss-feeds.asp" rel="ugc">http://www.expertsforge.com/rss-feeds/rss-feeds.asp</a>, but that does not work for me either. I cannot believe that this is so difficult so I think I am missing something obvious here. Guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

How to pull an RSS feed into my intranet page

Web development software is used to create websites for both the Internet and intranets. Software can be either locally installed or operated through a cloud interface, and ranges in complexity from simple text editors to full-fledged integrated development environments (IDEs) that include graphics, video, audio, scripting and database support.

Web Components are a set of standards currently being produced by Google engineers as a W3C specification that allow for the creation of reusable widgets or components in web documents and web applications. The intention behind them is to bring component-based software engineering to the World Wide Web. The components model allows for encapsulation and interoperability of individual HTML elements. Support for Web Components is present in Chrome and Opera and is in Firefox (with a manual configuration change). Microsoft's Internet Explorer has not implemented any Web Components specifications yet. Web Components consist of 4 main elements: Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML Imports and HTML Templates.
