It looks like you have bigger issue than check-ins simply failing. From your screen shot, it looks like saves aren't processing as well.

On the machine running the application server, is the "Microsoft Office Project Server Queue Service" running? Please try restarting that service.

When you save a job do you see it in the PWA-> Server Settings -> Manage Queue page? (You will need to add "Success" for job completion states to the filters.)

Please check these things and let me know what you find...

Hi James

I checked as you mentioned all services were running fine.. i did not noticed any events... but when i was checking the Queues in PWA they shows up like not processing in full... i have this testing environment the application server and a web front end running off the VM ware WS on windows server 2003 std.

and databse is located on physical dedicated ms sql2005 server. all was running good untill i rebooted the server and it could not see domain controller for some reason so i disjoined it from domain and rejoin.... i had this issue before too but not this much now its too much..

any idea...

With the queue not processing items, some of the core services of Project Server are either not running, or having severe problems running.

As mentioned, the key service for processing queue jobs is the "Microsoft Office Project Server Queue Service"

Try restarting that service. If it restarts, check the Application event log for the time that you restarted it. I suspect that it will record some errors on start up.

Did the machine name change when you removed it from the domain and added it back? Removing the machine from the domain is generally not a good idea: some accounts may be changed.

If the machine name changed, or the Queue Service is generating strange errors, it may be easiest to reinstall: Remove Project Server and SharePoint both and start over. (You implied that there wasn't any production data on this server.)

Hi James

finally i made it work... simply by applying SP2 of office shareporint server and WSS SP3... and then try to cancel the queues and resubmitting them and deleteing the old crappy test projects..

Thanks all.
