When you run Disk cleanup, is it possible to do exclusions (do not remove Office 2003 cache etc).

Are they provisions like that?

Thanks

How to Automate the Disk Cleanup Tool in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315246

When you do a "/SAGESET:5" command it will popup and you choose what you want to clean, and then when you do the "/SAGERUN:5" command, it will have ONLY what you chose..... If you did a "/SAGESET:4", the only options you would get when running the :4 is those etc.....

Disk cleanup util already give you options for exclusions as you can see those check boxes simply uncheck them as you wanting try the "More Options" button also for cleaning more spaces.

As far as my current knowledge we cant customize on everything  we want to exclude.

@johnb6767

i think /sageset is also giving only the option already provided by gui  tool which is cleanmgr isnt?then y u suggested that? may i know please?

Yes, its just the options in the GUI, but the automation provides that you dont need to uncheck/check anything when run this way..
