InfoPath 2007 Task Pane problem, HTML code shows

kieriosity used Ask the Experts™
I have problems with the task pane in InfoPath 2007. Our company has a domain policy that disables "Open files based on content, not file extension" in IE. They recently upgraded to Office 2007 and now the task pane only shows the HTML code and not the rendered page. Apparently, InfoPath 2007  is tied to the above IE internet policy. I was able to change the registry and the page rendered properly; however, I can't do this for all of our users. Does anyone know if there is a work around for this?

Yes InfoPath utilizes Internet Explorer and settings a lot.

If you can't get the domain policy changed then you could dreate a script to update the registry but it would make sense to just update group policy.

It appears there is no work around as I suspected.
