outlook distribution list update

I have a distribution list that is not updating.  Updates were made to
distribution list members' email addresses, but they are not updating when I
click on the "Update Now" button.

How can I fix this.

FYI: I am using Outlook 2003/Windows XP/SP3

thank you...but I have already seen this and I was hoping that there might be a fix.  I have extensive DLs and it will take me a long time to replicate.

Agreed, it is a valid answer although not very helpful. It does not provide me with a satisfactory resolution to the problem.  In particular the DLs are a very useful tool which I have utilized extensively and abandoning this function will incur time consuming reorganization and a significant ongoing overhead of my time.

The point value might be only 10% or 20% of the full amount.

I was already aware that the standard answer is that DLs have problems if built using an earlier version of Outlook.  I was looking for additional and helpful guidance which might have been a little unreasonable but I was hopeful for a creative approach.  The answers have not added greatly to my understanding or approach.

How can I award 100 points and refund the balance?
