installation of Server 2008 R2 states package is valid but for a different machine type

I was following the instructions I was given here in a previous post by doing the 1st install of 2008 on a member server.  But it fails.  see exact screen shot.  I'd realy like to get this upgrade started.  Hope the Experts have the answer.

Wow.  didn't know that.  So I can't upgrade any of my 32bit servers?
Nope fresh install only if your going from any 32bit OS to a 64bit OS regardless of the version of Windows
Extract from: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/32-bit-and-64-bit-windows-frequently-asked-questions

No. If you are currently running a 32-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 32-bit version of Windows. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 64-bit version of Windows.

I'll have my supplier get me the 32bit version.  I'm guessing there is a 32bit version?
Also see here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd379511(WS.10,printer).aspx

Extract: In-place upgrades from 32-bit to 64-bit architectures are not supported. All editions of Windows Server 2008 R2 are 64-bit only.
Is R2 the only version currently available?

Can't I get a 32bit version?

I do have one server I could completely rebuild with R2, but it that server going to be compatible with the rest my 2003 domain?
The non R2 version of 2008 is available as 32bit the R2 version is only available  in 64bit

they can all exist in the same domain together.
Thanks I'll order 2008 32bit
