Monitor iTouch web access

What's the best way for me to monitor my children's iTouch web surfing? Before the iTouch, we had Guardian Monitor.  It appeared to interfere with the iTunes installation.

No matter though, as Gaurdian only monitors computers.  The kids appear to now do their web surfing via iTouch. Someone has suggested packet sniffing software.  Sounds complicated.

The only real way to do this would be to setup a transparent proxy on the wireless router. This detects and logs every outgoing http and ftp connection. (chances are, an average linksys won't support this. You need to build a PC, and install and configure pfSense on it. Not to be rude, but this seems to be a little beyond your scope)

Or, you could check their history randomly. Hint: if it is practically empty, be suspicious

you can set your home router to use OpenDNS for its dns (https://www.opendns.com/start/). I haven't tested this with iphones, but it shouldn't make a difference. The only problem is i THINK the free version is all or nothing, but I'm not positive.

Thanks all.  Either way, it looks like I'm forced to learn something about home networks. Ugh!
