There are some reasonably easy to obtain that can support up to 192 GB.  And the Dell R900 supports 256 GB.  To go much higher, you'll likely need to speak directly to vendors like HP, Unisys, Dell, IBM, and the like.

I don't like HP and so I have no idea.  IBM is expensive.  I have had clients/past employers get their systems, but not in a while and certainly never with those requirements.   Why not call your HP rep.  Otherwise, the motherboards that can handle it are made by SuperMicro (www.supermicro.com) and I'm sure others.

Thanks Leew;
MCSA2003, what you mentioned is true on paper, for that to be practically usable, it may be a *loooong time*, don't you think?
