windows ce and win 7 dual boot
Is it possible to dual boot a computer using win ce and win 7?
Arnold is correct, Win CE is not designed to work on standard desktop/laptop hardware, the exact hardware that Windows 7 needs.
You can run a virtual instance of WinCE from within Windows 7 though. Here's a guide on how to set up an emulator to run Windows Mobile 6:

I just found out that the laptop they are using is a rugged tablet with windows mobile installed on it.
If it's running Windows Mobile, it likely has an ARM processor, which means the device can't possibly run Windows 7, which only runs on x86 processors.
However, if you have the brand and model number you can look up the specs to confirm.

It is actually running Win 7 on it now and they want to run Win Mobile on it also. I will get the model # of the device soon and post it here.

I do not see where they have reference/included support for windows CE.
IT does not look as though windows CE will support booting the tablet.

Yes, there are a few apps they need to run using Windows Mobile.
If you have a CE platform, not sure whether windows 7 will support or have enough resources to be installed.
Do you have a particular hardware on which you have one (please specify which ) and would like to install the other?
