PGP Security with Exchange 2003

One of our customers has said they need to be able to send us emails using a PGP security protocol which I know nothing about. They have said it will be just one email address which they want to send to at our end, which we will then need to send to a group of members.

What is PGP? How do we implement this and are there any cost implications?
