Hi,

I am automating a Windows XP build and need to change the "Regional and Language Option" - Location setting from United States to United Kingdom. I have attached the code below, the registry key changes to 242 but the location doesn't.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any particular reason why you are not using sysprep and a sysprep.inf or winnt.sif file as these will automate the installation for you and set the regional options?

The relevant entries for the UK would be

[RegionalSettings]
    LanguageGroup=1
    SystemLocale=00000809
    UserLocale=00000809
    InputLocale=0809:00000809

and sysprep would allow you to create the answerfile automatically

I have tried that in the sysprep entry and there is no option for location, I have attached my entry below. It changes everything else apart from the location
 [RegionalSettings]
    LanguageGroup=1
    SystemLocale=00000809
    UserLocale=00000809
    UserLocale_DefaultUser=00000809
    InputLocale=0809:00000809
    InputLocale_DefaultUser=0809:00000809
