make sure temp directory is writable

I cannot install oracle 11 as I get an error saying the c:temp direcotory is not writable, i have set all my write priveliges but no luck

any ideas?

which OS do you install ?

If it is unix based , try to chmode 777 for this filesystem and chown for this user

Make sure that you have at least 400 M free space in the temporary directory.

There are several reasons for the error
a) Insufficient free space in the temporary directory.

b) Insufficient access rights on the temporary directory.

c) Not using a local console.

d) Corrupted software set.

e) Wrong Unzip utility is used.

f) No execute permission on Unzip utility

g) Free space => 2Tb

Try to install Oracle as Administrator of the OS.
Check first if you can store a small file in the temporary directory.
