Want to setup vmware on PowerEdge 2950 server.  Have installed ESX software before on PowerEdge 2950 servers by crating virtual disc's in configuration utility. Entered this utility by pressing CTRL + R.  However, on this particular server I do not get this option.  All I  get is CTRL + E for Remote Access setup and CTRL + A for SCSI select utility.

How can I get to enter configuration mode to create virtual disc's to install required software for VM?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, you will only get this CTRL-R prompt if you have a PERC 5 or 6 installed.  If you are not seeing it, make sure the controller is ON/ENABLED in the BIOS.
