I just got my PC back from repair.  Everything is fine but my DSL is acting wierd sometimes.  Configured my DSL connection and it's working.
However, it periodically asks me to REDIAL.  This wasn't true before.  Why?

Either in IE or Control Panel, check that Never Dial a Connection is checked, in Internet Connections.

Also, have you done a good spy/malware scan? Preferably with at least 2 scanners.

These are a good start
