Footer of a repeater: can't see the bound value

I have a repeater. I have a Headertemplate, itemtemplate and footer template.

I have this in my footer template.But the ID won't bind to it.

*** If I put it in ItemTemplate, then I see the value but I don't see it when it's in FooterTemplate.

How can I do this?

There is only one footer item in repeater and it is not databound.
From the code I think you need to add that link inside the ItemTemplate as its last element.
Footer is not for each item but it is for entire repeater.
So try moving that element inside the itemTemplate.
