Cannot Resolve Localhost nor 127.0.0.1 on Multiple OS
Hi all, We have an issue with resolving Localhost in IIS
We have recently setup several Virtual Images with Different OS, "Windows 7, 2003 R2,and XP Pro" We sysprep'd the images and made available for deployment in VMM Server
However, we have an issue with all the images not being able to resolve Localhost, nor 127.0.0.1 through IIS
We can resolve localhost by Pinging the address. We have disabled the Fireall, commented out the line in Hosts file, and added localhost to header in IIS to test, but still will not work
Any thoghts on what could be the problem.

for sure you know the localhost only works in the IIS with the default website, if the IIS have no site configured as default the http://localhost will give you the 404
