RichText Datawindow
I want to create letter that has a nice logo at the top, some formatted text
and then 1 or mores rows in the detail band. Sounds simple, My question is
can this be done using the RichText Datawindow presentation style or maybe I
need to use regular datawindow with richtext edit style column.
Another words, I want to group on client number and show multiple products
in the detail band and not a new letter for each product.
Can this be done.

I want to create a nice letter in Powerbuilder, in the header have a logo and some nice test (like in Word) and then display products from the database table.
I'm trying to use the datawindow with the rich text presenatation style but it always creates a new instance if the letter for every detail row even though the client no did not change

for the above requirement, we use a normal datawindow....
where we show the company logo in the header with text like address and other static text...
and the details display all the rows...
If details are many and it goes to a second page, we handle it on dw level not to show the logo and text on next page... just the first page...
any particular reason y u intend to use Rich text or ur ok with using a normal tabular DW...

The main reason I was trying the rich text was so the user could have as part of the report a nice formated letter. I was also just considering a column with richtext edit style

i dont see any problem with achieving wat ur looking for.
Go ahead and try it with a Richtext datawindow.
If u face any problems we cud help u here or provide a workaround...
