Safari forgot saved password for email pages like gmail

Hi,

I am using safari. I let it store my usernames/passwords for email accounts like gmail. I just opened gmail, and now the stored username/password that are usually there are gone. Why does this happen, and is there any way to get safari to restore those for me? I did have the save password checkbox checked...

If you use a tracks cleaner it removes your username/password store also.

I'm on a mac, and I have keychain, I don't know if it had ever interacted with my gmail password though - is there a way to restore it from keychain or something?

Don't you know your login details?

Have a look in your keychain, that's where all your passwords are.

This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.
