What can I replace my T1 line with?
Hi. My T1 contract is coming up soon and I'm exploring data options as we're outgrowing our single T1 rather quickly. Has anyone had good luck implementing a newer business class fiber line?
So far I've only talked to my AT&T rep who is set on selling T1 and a comcast rep who says they have a 50mb dedicated fiber line, specced for business, that's under $200 p/month. Wow is this for real? Is this the way to go? What other carriers are offering this type of plan? thanks. Any insight would be great...

Okay, I have some recent familiarity with this, and I highly doubt that you can get a "dedicated" 50 mb fiber line for under $200 per month. Now you can get 2 T1's and multilink them together, but the price that you are stating seems to be pretty unrealistic to me.

That's what I would have thought but here's a direct quote from Comcast.
"I can provide you with our Business Class Deluxe Internet which boasts speeds of 50/10 Mbps for a total monthly bill of $189.95."
He says it's a dedicated line... Anyone have any experience with this?

You're not a T1 provider are you? :P
I guess that's what I was after. I'm still interested in the idea but definitely don't want to be stuck with broadband. Wish there was a way to bring this in on trial to physically see what I'm getting... lol.
thanks
